Analysis tools and advertising

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the Google Analytics web analysis service. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses what are known as "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information on your use of this website that is generated by the cookie is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a justifiable interest in the analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both its web service and its advertising.

IP anonymisation

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. As a result, Google will first shorten your IP address within European Union Member States and in other countries that are signatories of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on the website activities and provide other services connected with the website use and internet use to the website operator. The IP address sent by your browser within Google Analytics is not collated with other data by Google.

Objection to data recording

You can prevent Google Analytics from recording your information by disabling audience analysis cookies in the cookie settings here: An opt-out cookie is placed on your computer that prevents your information from being recorded during any future visits to this website.

You can find more information on the handling of user information by Google Analytics in the Google data protection declaration:

Contract Data Processing

We have concluded an agreement with Google for contract data processing and will fully implement the strict regulations of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographics in Google Analytics

This website uses the "demographics" function of Google Analytics, through which reports can be created that contain statements pertaining to the age, gender and interests of visitors to the site. This information comes from interest-based advertising by Google and from user information from third-party suppliers. This information cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time using the display settings in your Google account or generally prohibit Google Analytics from recording your information, as set out under the heading "Objection to data recording".

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").

We use what is called conversion tracking in the context of Google AdWords. If you click on an advert connected to Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is placed on your computer. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser places on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and do not personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie is not yet running, we and Google can detect that the user has clicked on the advert and has been forwarded to this page.

Every Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked by the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using conversion cookies helps to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers that have decided to use conversion tracking. Customers find out the total number of users that have clicked on their advert and have been forwarded to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which the user can be personally identified. If you do not wish to take part in the tracking, you can object to this use by simply deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of conversion cookies is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a justifiable interest in the analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both its web service and its advertising.

You can find more information on Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking in Google's data protection regulations:

You can also set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are placed on your computer and only allow them in individual cases, block cookies for specific cases or in general and activate automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. The functionality of this website can be restricted by deactivating cookies.

Google Maps

This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

It is necessary to store your IP address to use the Google Maps functions. This information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.

The use of Google Maps is for the benefit of an appealing representation of our online services and for easy traceability of the locations given by us on our website. This represents a justifiable interest in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

You can find more information on the handling of user information in the Google data protection declaration:

Facebook Pixel

Our website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook; Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") for conversion measurement.

The site visitor's behaviour can therefore be tracked once the visitor has been forwarded to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook advert. As a result, the efficacy of Facebook adverts can be assessed for statistical and market research purposes and future promotional materials can be optimised.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we are not able to determine the identity of the user. However, the data will be stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the relevant user profile is possible and Facebook is able to use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook data policy. Facebook can therefore control adverts on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. This use of data cannot be influenced by us as site operator.

You can find further information on the protection of your personal information in the Facebook data protection information:

You can also deactivate the remarketing function "Custom Audiences" under the settings for adverts at You must be logged in to Facebook for this.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising by Facebook on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website:
