Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for international and domestic vendor management of materials of products, ensuring timely delivery, cost effectiveness and quality.
  • Researching and comparing suppliers, goods, and services.
  • Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.
  • Requesting cost proposals and negotiating contracts and prices.
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders.
  • Performing master Data maintenance in the ERP system (Items, suppliers, prices, lead times) and system maintenance.
  • Responsible for vendor agreements (negotiation in prices, quantities, discounts, payment terms etc).
  • Ensure quality of purchased products and services provides by vendors.
  • Creation of statistics and KPI reports.

Requirements 

  • Degree in Engineering or and similar disciplines is preferred but not mandatory. Alternatively, successfully completed commercial training such as industrial, wholesale and foreign trade merchant (m/f/d) or similar.
  • Working experience in the manufacturing industry will be considered as a strong plus
  • Experience in similar position
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral English
  • Customer orientation and excellent communication skills
  • Dynamic personality with multitasking skills
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers
  • Experience in standard Microsoft Office and ERP software

Your area of responsibility:

As an employee in our spare parts department, you are responsible for the following tasks:

Calculation and processing of spare parts offers in the ERP system

Execution / coordination of spare parts orders in the ERP system with precise deadlines and costs

Preparation and forwarding of material orders to purchasing department including support

Coordination and tracking of processing activities (from order creation to readiness for dispatch) of spare parts orders

Supervision of the central spare parts email mailbox

Customer communication (by phone and email) mainly in English

Our requirement profile:

After completing a commercial (industrial, foreign trade or forwarding agent) or foreign language education, you already have gained experience in order processing or comparable tasks. We assume good spoken and written knowledge of German and English, knowledge in standard Microsoft Office and ERP software, as well as independent, precise and responsible execution of the assigned tasks.

Your area of responsibility:

As a team member in our export department, you are responsible for the following tasks:

● Timely and appropriate export processing of customer orders from third and EU countries including the final invoicing

● Independent monitoring of shipping dates in the assigned country area of responsibility

● Dispatch processing with preparation of customs documents including export control and preferential origin check

● Execution of country-specific shipping documents

● Examination of letters of credit and preparation of documents in compliance with the specified deadlines and requirements

● Obtaining freight offers with freight forwarders and logistics companies

● Telephone and written customer communication, mainly in English

Our requirement profile:

After a completed commercial (industrial, foreign trade or freight forwarding) or foreign language professional education, you have already gained experience in the worldwide shipping sector or a similar activity. Ideally, training in export and/or special customs training is preferred. We require good knowledge of spoken and written German and English, the experience in standard shipping software, as well as independent, accurate and responsible execution of assigned tasks. Cost-conscious and entrepreneurial mindset and acting is a key characteristic that you possess.

Your profile:
