Total Water Management

Product Portfolio Cruise

RWO offers different solutions for cruise ships and makes sure to find the best system for your ship. We are proud to be able to take care of the Total Water Management aboard your ships.

RWO product range for cruises covers five sectors: Oil/Water Separation, advanced Wastewater Treatment, Fresh and Process Water Treatment, Ballast Water Treatment and AC Copper Removal Unit to fully clean the condensate water aboard your ships for reuse.

Oily Water Separation

Oily Water Separator OWS-COM complies with the actual IMO Resolution MEPC.107(49) using the combination of the highly effective open porous coalescer together with a second stage emulsion breaking oil and hydrocarbon polisher.

  • Applied for IMO Resolution MEPC.107(49), USCG, SBG, MED, USCG, MRS, CCS and RRR type approval
  • Most compact: suitable for newsbuilds and retrofit
  • Easy to install and maintain

Wastewater Treatment

RWO provides two solutions for wastewater treatment:

  • CleanSewage Bio - Biological Sewage Treatment Plant
  • MEMROD(R) technology (MEMbrane Reactor Operation Device) for large capacities and custom-made systems 

Both technologies permit black and grey as well as galley wastewater to be treated.

Reverse Osmosis desalination

RWO provides reliable and long-lasting equipment. The reverse osmosis plants are designed for automatic operation and require little or no maintenance.

Copper Removal & Condensate reuse

The ACCuRem copper removal system is based on a combination of filtration and ion-exchange. Numerous ACCuRem systems are in successful operation on cruise ships since its development and exceeding the expectations of both shipowners and operators. 

  • Treats several thousands of cubic metres of condensate via a special process
  • Very small footprint for easy integration also into existing piping onboard ships
  • No other chemicals involved
