"I joined RWO in March 2007 in a general role as responsible for developing the novel water technology EctoSys within new fields and applications, but at the same time I also joined a dedicated team with a very specific task: to get flag state Type Approval of our ballast water treatment system, CleanBallast. The road to success has not been without turns and detours, but the more satisfaction when the target was reached after a long time of hard work and devotion.
Working as an engineer at RWO, I have the privilege of following the results of our development work and product improvements directly: all the way from the drawing board to manufacturing on the workshop floor, shipment to the customer and feedback from final use on-board. Even if the company has grown dramatically during recent years, the familiar atmosphere is kept at RWO. I have about 70 close colleagues, all professionals cooperating to offer the very best products and service to our marine customers. At the same time, as RWO is being part of the VWS family, I have also enjoyed many opportunities to meet and work together with water treatment experts from all fields all over the world. So for me, working at RWO is really the best of two worlds."
