RWO at Marintec 2019: Effective and transparent bilge water management
In Shanghai it is all about digital bilge management and sustainable water treatment
Easy handling with RWO’s Clean Bilge Monitoring (CBM)
From 3rd to 6th of December 2019, RWO is presenting at Asia's most significant maritime trade. Just in time for the show’s 40th anniversary, RWO will showcase their capabilities in hall N2, booth E4Z.RWO helps to meet the global challenges of the shipping industry for more sustainability and cost effective solutions. In addition to the tried and tested ecological water treatment solutions for the protection of the seas, the digital bilge management CBM-LINK will be at core of the presentation.
"By presenting our own stand, we are taking into account the importance of the Marinetec and the Asian market in general. We want to be able to engage personally and be in direct conversation with the driving forces of the shipping industry", emphasizes Volker Alps, CSO of RWO / Veolia. "As a provider of sustainable solutions in marine water treatment, we are already well known for our high quality of Oily Water Separators, now we want to actively help shape the digital future of bilge."
CBM-LINK is an intelligent Clean Bilge Monitoring (CBM) System designed to help make on-board water treatment significantly more efficient and cost-effective. The system comprises the two CBM and LINK systems that fit seamlessly together. LINK is a software system which provides detailed information about the operation of the system as well as the composition of the bilge water. The information can be visualised in real time, enabling timely adjustment of system modes. Connected to the ship's communication system, the system is able to access GPS coordinates. CBM acts as the final control mechanism before bilge water is discharged.
